Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Reedsburg location. In this role, you will practice relationship-based, primary care medicine with a focus on prevention, wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and health education. You will work autonomously with longer appointment times (20 to 60 minutes per patient) and a smaller patient panel, allowing for meaningful patient relationships without the burden of high-volume, fee-for-service pressures.
Clinical Setting
Marathon Health operates nationwide onsite, nearsite, and network health centers, as well as virtual primary care services. This position is based in Reedsburg and offers a value-based care model where success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing.
Responsibilities
- Provide wholistic primary care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education
- Manage routine wellness care, chronic conditions, and urgent visits
- Practice at the top of your license with clinical autonomy
- Utilize available clinical resources including UpToDate and RubiconMD at no cost
Required Qualifications
For Nurse Practitioner:
- Active license with current ANCC or AANP board certification
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability
For Physician Assistant:
- Active license with current NCCPA board certification
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability
Preferred Qualifications

Compensation
- Pay range: $63.00 to $76.00 per hour
- Actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level
