Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Dodgeville location. In this role, you will practice relationship-based, primary care medicine with a focus on prevention, wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and health education. You will work autonomously with a smaller patient panel and longer appointment times (20 to 60 minutes), allowing for more meaningful patient interactions. This is not a fee-for-service model; success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume.
Clinical Setting
You will work within Marathon Health's value-based primary care model, which includes onsite, nearsite, and network health centers. The practice emphasizes prevention and wellness alongside acute and chronic disease management. You will have access to clinical resources including UpToDate and RubiconMD at no charge.
Responsibilities
- Provide relationship-based primary care including routine wellness visits, chronic disease management, and urgent care
- Deliver holistic patient care focused on prevention and health education
- Practice at the top of your license with clinical autonomy
- Manage a smaller patient panel with extended appointment times
Required Qualifications
For Nurse Practitioner:
- Active state license
- Current ANCC or AANP board certification
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability
For Physician Assistant:
- Active state license
- Current NCCPA board certification
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability
Preferred Qualifications

Compensation
- Pay range: $63.00 to $76.00 per hour
- Actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level
