PRN Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse RN

Southern Health Partners is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care at the Cabarrus County Jail in Concord, North Carolina. This is a flexible, as-needed position ideal for nurses seeking additional shifts or those interested in gaining experience in correctional healthcare.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a secure correctional facility providing essential healthcare to an underserved population. The role operates within a structured environment alongside a supportive medical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients within the correctional facility
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient conditions
• Respond to medical needs and changes in patient status
• Collaborate with medical providers and the healthcare team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote continuity of care and patient safety
• Follow established clinical protocols and correctional healthcare procedures
• Maintain professionalism and sound clinical judgment in a secure environment

Schedule

PRN (as needed) with flexible scheduling options.

Required Qualifications

• Current North Carolina LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a secure, structured environment
