PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Augusta Women's Health Clinic

Wellstar is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Augusta Women's Health Clinic. In this role, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Manager, providing direct patient care to patients with medical and surgical needs. You will deliver age-appropriate interventions that address physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients with medical and surgical needs
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality care
• Participate in call rotation and weekend visits as needed
• Serve as a preceptor for new LPN employees
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, special projects, and continued education

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARC-BLS (American Red Cross Basic Life Support) certification, or BLS-I (Basic Life Support Instructor) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year of medical and surgical nursing practice in an acute care environment
