The opportunity

Job Description

Mercyhealth is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospice team in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care to hospice patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and accessing vast multi-specialty referral sources within our regional health system.

Clinical Setting

You will work within Mercyhealth's Hospice program, part of a 501(c)(3) non-profit regional health system serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The system operates 7 hospitals, 100+ primary and specialty care centers across more than 90 communities, and employs over 8,250 professionals.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active state APRN license
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
  • Skilled at providing exceptional patient care

Compensation and Employment

  • PRN (as-needed) position
  • Hourly rate: $41.00 - $69.70
  • EPIC EMR system
