Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver relationship-based primary care in a value-based model that prioritizes health outcomes over patient volume. In this role, you will practice at the top of your license, providing comprehensive care including prevention, chronic disease management, health education, and acute care to patients across onsite, nearsite, network, and virtual health centers.

Clinical Setting

Marathon Health operates a nationwide network of employer and union-sponsored health centers with a focus on advanced primary care. You will have access to clinical resources including UpToDate and RubiconMD at no cost.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relationship-based primary care including routine wellness visits, chronic disease management, and urgent care
  • Deliver holistic health education and preventive care
  • Practice autonomously with clinical decision-making authority
  • Manage patient panels with extended appointment times (20 to 60 minutes per visit)
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team while maintaining independent practice

Marathon Health emphasizes work-life balance with smaller patient panels, more time per patient, and fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks compared to traditional fee-for-service models. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than billing volume.

Required Qualifications
