Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Feeding Tube (School Case)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a private duty school-based case in Henrico, Virginia. You will provide nursing care to a child with a feeding tube (g-tube) during school hours, attending school with the patient to deliver direct care and support.

Clinical Setting

• Private duty nursing in a school setting
• Patient population: Child with low acuity feeding tube care
• Location: Henrico, 23233

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Full-time position

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Virginia (compact licenses must be transferred to Virginia within 90 days)
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component (Aveanna can assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary)
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
• Background or experience in psychiatry/mental health
