Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for private duty nursing, providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes. This day-shift position offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients across all age groups and acuity levels.

Private duty nursing differs from traditional home health visits by offering consistent shift types (8, 10, or 12 hours), hands-on care with a single client, and the ability to observe and support client milestones over time. You will care for clients ranging from infants to geriatric patients with various diagnoses and acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluation

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling with no minimums (full-time, part-time, per diem options available)
• Day-shift position with schedule matching your availability
• Short commute times near your home
• Traditional shift types: 8, 10, or 12 hours

Compensation

• $30.00-$36.00 per hour
• $35.00-$40.00 per hour for ongoing weekend shifts
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• $1,200 nurse referral bonus
• Weekly pay every Thursday

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• Current nursing license in good standing in the state
• Minimum of five months of LPN experience
