The opportunity

Job Description

Carbon Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time primary care position in North Hollywood. You will provide patient-centered care to adult patients in a supportive, innovative clinical environment that prioritizes both quality care and clinician well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient histories and physical examinations
  • Provide basic women's health services, including Pap smears
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
  • Interpret x-rays, lab results, and EKGs
  • Manage a patient panel with a focus on evidence-based quality care
  • Manage patient flow efficiently with support from the Central Support team
  • Provide leadership for medical assistants and clinic staff
  • Consult supervising physicians as needed within scope of practice

Clinical Setting

You will work with Carbon Health's proprietary electronic health record (EHR) system, CarbyOS, which features AI-powered tools including hands-free note writing and workflow automations designed to reduce administrative burden and give you more time for patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current national certification
  • Unrestricted DEA license
  • At least 1 year of primary care or similar clinical experience
  • Ability to provide adult care and basic women's health services
  • BLS certification (must be obtained before your first day)

Schedule

  • 4-day work week (40 hours per week)
  • No on-call duties
  • No weekends
  • Holidays off

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $122,200 - $194,660 annually
