Possible Position: School Nurse (LPN) ~ 2026-2027 School Year

This is a school nurse position for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students in a K-12 educational setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide health services to students, manage student health records, administer medications, respond to health emergencies, and coordinate with school administration, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and academic success.

Required Qualifications

• Appropriate degree from an accredited nursing school
• Valid Alabama nurse's license
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama statutes and State Board of Education regulations

Compensation

• Salary based on the approved state minimum salary schedule as adopted by the Board
