PICC RN (FT nights)

We are seeking a PICC RN/Vascular Access Specialist to provide expert vascular access services to patients across a variety of healthcare facilities. This full-time night position involves bedside procedures, patient education, and comprehensive documentation while maintaining high standards of professionalism and clinical skill.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside insertion of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs)
• Perform bedside insertion of midlines and extended dwell catheters
• Perform bedside insertion of peripheral IV catheters
• Establish access via intravascular ports
• Examine, assess, and evaluate patients with vascular access devices
• Educate patients and family members on procedures to be completed
• Answer patient questions regarding procedures
• Educate staff when necessary
• Clearly document all procedures completed according to client policy and company policy

Clinical Setting

This role operates across a wide variety of healthcare facility environments. Driving from client facility to client facility may account for a large part of the usual workday. You will routinely use portable ultrasound equipment, medical supplies, mobile phones, and computers.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state in which you are working
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BCLS certification
• Completed vascular access competency skills checklist
• Communication proficiency
• Personal effectiveness and credibility
• Patient and client focus
