Job Description

Vascular Wellness is seeking a full-time Vascular Access RN to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina and surrounding areas. In this role, you will assess patients, determine appropriate vascular access devices, and perform bedside procedures using ultrasound guidance. You will work both independently and collaboratively within an experienced clinical team, applying advanced techniques in a specialty vascular access setting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and recommend the appropriate vascular access device
  • Perform PICC, midline, and peripheral IV insertions using ultrasound guidance
  • Perform advanced line placement based on training and credentialing
  • Maintain strict infection prevention standards and sterile technique
  • Complete thorough documentation and handoff communication
  • Follow all facility and regulatory policies, including safety and COVID-19 protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Understanding of the state Nurse Practice Act
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in acute care (hospital) settings, preferably ICU or ED
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in varied care environments
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ICU or ED experience

Schedule

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, with occasional extended hours
  • Weekend and holiday rotation

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$83,000 based on experience
  • Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates (paid in two installments)
