The opportunity

Job Description

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join an established radiology group of 10 diagnostic radiologists and 4 interventional radiologists. This is a hospital-employed position offering nearly 100% interventional radiology practice with a full spectrum of procedures.

Clinical Setting

You will work in spacious procedure rooms equipped with brand-new Siemens equipment installed in 2023. Benefis is a standalone, financially stable, not-for-profit tertiary center with level II trauma designation serving a quarter of Montana's land mass. The health system provides advanced specialty support including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, advanced gastroenterology, a regional cancer institute, and a state-of-the-art emergency trauma department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including peripheral vascular disease interventions, oncology procedures, and pain management injections
  • Procedures include middle meningeal artery embolizations, INARI, Y90s, tumor ablations, WavelinQ, Shockwave, Angiojet, Penumbra, cerebral angiography, carotid stenting, pain injections, and TIPS
  • Participate in an established radiology group with minimal turnover
  • Attend monthly meetings with highest-level physician and administrative leadership to bring ideas forward and solve issues

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Call is every fourth week (Q4), 13 weeks per year, Monday through Sunday, typically scheduled a year in advance
  • 17 full weeks off annually, typically scheduled a year in advance
