Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Dermatology Sonora

Skin and Cancer Institute, a leading dermatology practice with locations across California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team in Sonora. You will work alongside board-certified dermatologists to deliver comprehensive dermatologic care with a strong focus on skin cancer detection and treatment. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from nationally recognized dermatology leaders.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin evaluations and skin cancer screenings
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions
• Conduct in-office procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and similar treatments
• Assist in surgical dermatology cases and provide post-operative care
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and prevention
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of employment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Dermatology experience (training provided for the right candidate without prior dermatology background)
