Physician Assistant (PA) / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Centers Urgent Care, a rapidly growing urgent care network with multiple locations across the 5 Boroughs, is seeking Physician Assistants (PA) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) to join our clinical team. You will examine and diagnose patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment, working alongside providers, medical assistants, and practice management staff.

Clinical Setting

Centers Urgent Care operates 7 days a week with fully equipped, modern facilities including on-site labs, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose patients of all ages and backgrounds courteously and efficiently
• Maintain charts accurately and comprehensively
• Create diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prescribe medications as appropriate
• Perform suturing
• Order laboratory tests and medical imaging
• Refer patients to outside specialists when indicated
• Guide staff with your medical expertise and experience
• Operate as a team member with providers, medical assistants, and practice management staff

Required Qualifications

• Active PA or FNP license
• Two years of prior experience in urgent or emergency care (preferred)

Schedule and Employment Type

Full-time positions require twelve 12-hour shifts per month and are benefits eligible. Per diem positions require a minimum of four days per month with weekend availability required. All positions require weekend availability.
