Join Reno Orthopedic Center as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) on our Pain Management team. You will work under a Pain Management physician in a newly established specialty service designed to help patients return to their daily activities. This is a clinic-focused position ideal for providers who enjoy direct patient care.
Clinical Setting
You will work primarily at our Main Reno downtown location, with some travel to our Carson City clinic (approximately 4 days per month). Reno Orthopedic Center recently completed construction of the region's only Institute for Musculoskeletal Health, an all-inclusive campus featuring the region's largest team of fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists, imaging services, a walk-in clinic, Nevada's only total joint replacement specific outpatient surgery center, a five-suite general orthopedic outpatient surgery center, and physical therapy.
Responsibilities
- See patients in clinic as the primary focus of the role
- Assist in pain management procedures after full onboarding
- Build toward an estimated 20 patients per day
- Collaborate with fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists and other providers
Schedule
Full-time position available as either 4 or 5 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nevada professional license with no license restrictions (PA-C or APRN)
- Nurse Practitioners must be certified to see patients of all ages (FNP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PA/NP in an orthopedic hospital or clinic setting
Travel Requirements
This position may require travel based on clinic needs, including approximately 4 days per month to our Carson City clinic.
