Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Dr. Beuchel)

Fort Wayne Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Dr. Beuchel, a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist. This position offers the opportunity to practice across multiple care settings, including outpatient clinics, surgical services, and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in the clinic setting
• First assist in the operating room
• Conduct inpatient consultations and daily rounds
• Participate in shared orthopedic trauma call rotation (currently 1:14)
• Provide bi-weekly clinic coverage in Warsaw, Indiana

Clinical Setting

This role provides a high level of physician collaboration, procedural exposure, and the opportunity to develop expertise in foot and ankle orthopedics. You will work in a large musculoskeletal practice with multiple clinic locations based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Required Qualifications

• Current Indiana NP or PA licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior orthopedic or surgical experience
• Experience with inpatient and perioperative patient management
