Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Cardiac Electrophysiology (Novato, CA)

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing cardiovascular program in Novato, California. This hybrid position combines outpatient electrophysiology clinic work with inpatient consultation services, providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.

Clinical Setting

You will practice within an integrated electrophysiology program serving a diverse patient population across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role is fully supported by Epic EMR across the continuum of care and includes collaboration with experienced electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, technologists, and other advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care in electrophysiology clinics and inpatient consultation services
• Manage patients with atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, bradyarrhythmias, syncope, and other cardiac rhythm disorders
• Deliver pre- and post-procedure care for catheter ablations, cardioversions, pacemaker implants, ICD implants, CRT devices, and generator changes
• Participate in device management, remote monitoring review, and device interrogations and programming as credentialed
• Support procedural coordination and longitudinal management of patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and electrophysiology program development
• Ensure continuity of care through comprehensive patient management across settings

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current, unrestricted California licensure or eligibility for licensure
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required by the department

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior cardiology or electrophysiology experience
• Experience with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs)
• Comfort working across both inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Strong understanding of cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia management
• Ability to interpret complex diagnostic and device data

• Full-time hybrid position
• 8-hour days, 5 days per week
