Mercy Clinic Breast Surgery at the Sindelar Cancer Center in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a team of 3 physicians, 1 advanced practitioner, and engaged support staff focused on quality patient care in breast surgery.
You will maintain an independent panel of patients within the High-Risk Breast Program while providing follow-up care for breast surgery patients. This is a full-time, outpatient clinic position with the opportunity to build your own patient panel and collaborate closely with providers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an independent patient panel within the High-Risk Breast Program
- Provide post-operative follow-up care for breast surgery patients
- Deliver survivorship care and high-risk breast management
- Manage patient symptoms and provide patient education
- Coordinate care across the continuum of services
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous advanced practitioner experience in breast surgery, breast health, women's health, OB/GYN, or other surgical specialties with significant women's health exposure
