Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room | Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in Manhattan, Kansas as a permanent Operating Room RN. This full-time or part-time position offers day shift work with no on-call, weekend, or holiday obligations—providing exceptional work-life balance in a dynamic surgical environment.

You will deliver high-quality intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, spine, urology, cataract, and general surgery. Your responsibilities will include assisting with surgical suite setup, sterile field preparation, terminal cleaning of OR suites, and collaborating with surgeons, scrub technicians, and anesthesia providers to maintain patient safety and efficient room turnovers. You will maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation using Meditech Expanse.

Schedule

Choose from flexible shift options to fit your life:

• 8-hour shifts (0630–1500)
• 10-hour shifts (0630–1630)
• 12-hour shifts (0600–1800)
• Full-time or part-time (32, 36, or 40 hours per week)
• Day shift only with no call, no callback, no weekends, and no holidays required

Compensation

Pay rate: $31.35 – $46.59 per hour, based on experience.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact equivalent
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum hands-on experience in orthopedic surgery, specifically total joint replacements and sports medicine
• Demonstrated capability to circulate and assist across general, ENT, gynecology, spine, urology, and cataract procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse EHR system
