One Medical is seeking a Per Diem Family Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services at clinic locations in the Chicago suburbs, including Deerfield, Skokie - Old Orchard, and Oak Brook Promenade. This is a casual, hourly employee role with 8-23 patient care hours per week.
Clinical Setting
You will work in One Medical's primary care clinics, which offer seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns.
Responsibilities
- See patients with a broad array of patient needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office and conduct occasional telehealth visits
- Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Utilize your clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate
- Participate in weekly rounds, ending patient care one hour early each week for shared learning experiences
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of primary care experience
- Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois
- Board Certification
- Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both one-on-one and in groups
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of patients
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Rate: $67 per hour on a W2 basis
Casual/Per Diem providers receive:
