Pediatric Home Health Nurse

MGA Homecare is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the home health setting. You will deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan
• Document clinical notes, supplemental physical orders, and nursing care plan updates
• Perform skilled observations and communicate significant changes in patient status to the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Manager
• Request modifications or additional orders based on patient clinical status and skilled nursing judgment
• Participate in agency mandated activities such as in-services as requested by the Agency Director
• Adhere to MGA policies, procedures, and handbook requirements
• Report on time and as scheduled to complete work within designated timeframes

Schedule

• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Fridays
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina nursing license (LPN/LVN)
• Current TB results or chest X-ray
• Current CPR certification as per agency policy
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be flexible, organized, and exercise independent and sound judgment in performing job duties and responsibilities
