Job Description
UW Health Belvidere Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician specializing in Transfusion/Infusion services. In this full-time role, you will provide direct patient care support in a hospital setting, assisting with transfusion and infusion procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
Schedule
- 100% FTE, full-time position
- Day shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Located at UW Health Belvidere Hospital in northern Illinois
- Additional compensation available for evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay
Required Qualifications
- Active and eligible listing in the Illinois Registry for CNA
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, OR RN or LPN training completed in another country with EKG certification
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
