Patient Care Technician - Surgical Reconstruction

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish as a Patient Care Technician supporting our Surgical Reconstruction team. In this role, you will work alongside Registered Nurses to provide hands-on patient care in a collaborative nursing environment. You'll assist patients with daily needs, mobility, and personal care while helping to maintain a safe and welcoming clinical setting.

Clinical Setting

HCA HealthONE Swedish is a 408-bed acute care hospital and a national leader in neurosciences, burn and reconstructive care, and oncology services. The hospital is part of HCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage estimate: $19.29 - $24.81 per hour. Actual salary may vary based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.
