Patient Care Technician - (PCT/CNA)- Nights

Landmark Joplin is seeking Patient Care Technicians and Certified Nursing Assistants to join our acute-care team on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care to medically complex patients in our 17-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital and 12-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, working alongside nursing, respiratory, and rehabilitation teams. This full-time position offers exposure to a wide variety of patient conditions and clinical duties.

Clinical Setting

Landmark Joplin specializes in caring for medically complex patients who typically stay an average of 25-30 days. You will work in an acute-care environment supporting both long-term acute care and acute rehabilitation patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care skills under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, intake and output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, and bowel and bladder training
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in the patient record
• Support licensed nurses in meeting patients' personal hygiene, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support needs

Schedule

• Full-time night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Current BLS certification required upon hire
• One year of healthcare experience (hospital-level experience highly preferred)
• Organized, detail-oriented approach with a strong team mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the State of Missouri
• Hospital-level healthcare experience
