Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN Nights | Sarasota Specialty

PAM Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for PRN night shifts at our Sarasota specialty facility. In this role, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the PCT position and will not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities consistent with PCT scope of practice
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain compliance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) nights
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
