Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN Nights | Heritage Valley Specialty

PAM Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for PRN night shifts at Heritage Valley Specialty. In this role, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work in a specialty healthcare setting providing post-acute care services.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the scope of the PCT position
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the general supervision of nursing staff
• Accomplish job duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines

Note: This position does not involve administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) nights
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred
