Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN Days |San Antonio Med Center Rehab

PAM Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a PRN days position at San Antonio Med Center Rehab. In this role, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the PCT position, which does not include administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the PCT position
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the supervision of nursing staff
• Accomplish job duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) days position
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
