Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN Days | Kyle Rehab

PAM Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a PRN days position at Kyle Rehab. This role offers flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle while providing direct patient care support in a rehabilitation setting.

The Patient Care Technician performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the PCT position, which does not include administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. All duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the scope of the PCT position
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) position
• Days shift
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
