Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Per Diem

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for per diem work in our inpatient rehabilitation setting in Phoenix, Arizona. This role supports patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will perform routine patient care tasks and documentation. Your responsibilities include:

• Transporting patients to and from various treatment areas and assisting with movement in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Providing assistance with dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding
• Answering patient lights and performing services in a timely manner
• Participating in patient turning and repositioning
• Performing purposeful hourly rounds
• Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or related experience such as medical assistant or active enrollment in a nursing program
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment

Schedule

• Per diem/PRN 12-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits

• $25.00 per hour
