DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide hands-on dialysis care in a hospital setting. This position will support patients with kidney disease across multiple facilities: Monmouth Medical Center-North, Monmouth County Correctional, and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. No dialysis experience is required—comprehensive paid training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Set up dialysis machines and observe treatment
- Support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care
- Educate patients on dialysis-related topics
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Required Qualifications
- Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
- Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
- Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience such as CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, or BONENT certification

Additional Requirements
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage range: $21.50 - $33.50 per hour (compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience)
