The opportunity
Job Description
Glengariff dialysis center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct, hands-on care to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic with 6 chairs. Working under RN supervision, you will support patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Required Qualifications
- Current dialysis experience
- Current BCLS certification
- Knowledge of computers and electronic charting
Schedule
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
Compensation
- Up to $18 per hour, based on experience
