Patient Care Technician (PCT) - FT Nights | Pittsburgh Specialty

PAM Health is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) for night shifts at our Pittsburgh specialty facility. In this role, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the PCT position, which does not include administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities consistent with PCT scope of practice
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the general supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain compliance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines

Schedule

• Full-time nights

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
