Job Description
Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician/OR Technician for a full-time days position at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. In this role, you will support the surgical team by assisting nursing staff with patient care activities in the operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with delivery of patient care activities
- Stock operating rooms and perform room turnovers between cases
- Transport specimens, patients, and equipment
- Perform surgical patient shaves and skin preparation
- Hold retractors during surgical procedures
- Sterilize surgical instrumentation
- Perform other duties as needed to support the operating room team
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience working in an acute care setting
