Patient Care Technician Opportunities Across Various Departments | Full-Time & Part-Time

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is hiring Patient Care Technicians to join our care team in a full-time role supporting nurses and therapists across various departments. This position offers valuable clinical exposure and is ideal for individuals exploring or beginning a career in nursing or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and therapists with direct and indirect patient care
• Safely transport patients throughout the organization
• Pick up and deliver x-rays, supplies, scans, mail, and other materials
• Support smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment

Schedule

• Multiple shifts available: Day, Evening, and Night
• Full-time position, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

You must meet one of the following:

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and one year of full-time direct patient care experience; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and three years of full-time healthcare setting experience; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and three years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
• Current enrollment in a Nursing Program

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification
• Previous hospital setting experience
• Current nursing student status

Compensation

• Starting hourly rate: $19.83
