Patient Care Technician

Highpoint Health-Sumner is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our 167-bed healthcare facility in Middle Tennessee. In this full-time night shift position, you will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in delivering quality healthcare to our community.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities
• Report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Suggest modifications to treatment plans as appropriate
• Assist with point-of-care testing and EKGs as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• State of Tennessee CNA license
• One year of certified nurse tech or EMT experience
• Note: CNA license may be considered in place of high school diploma or equivalent
