Job Description

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the GI Lab on a full-time basis. Under the direction of professional staff, you will assist with patient care to provide support to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff in this specialized laboratory setting.

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • 8x5 day shift (Monday-Friday)
  • United States of America location

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One of the following:
  • One year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
  • Graduation from a certified nursing assistant program
  • Completion of a certified medical assistant program
  • Documentation of completion of the first semester of a nursing program
  • Documented military experience as a medic or corpsman
  • Foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the U.S.
  • EMT certification or paramedic license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
