Patient Care Technician (Full-Time)

Averhealth is seeking a Male Drug Screening Representative to support individuals on their path to recovery. In this entry-level position, you will work at a drug testing center serving individuals complying with probation, completing drug treatment programs, or meeting bond requirements. You will conduct observed urine collections, maintain accurate records, and ensure patients are treated with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at the testing center
• Conduct observed urine collections with male patients who are complying with probation, completing drug treatment programs, or meeting bond requirements
• Prepare and ship collected specimens to the Averhealth laboratory
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the testing site
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all company and legal standards

Clinical Setting

You will work at a drug testing center in Woburn, MA. Your primary worksite may vary based on operational needs, and regular coverage at secondary sites within a 45-mile radius may be required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position typically between 35-40 hours per week. You must have flexibility for varying shifts due to random testing needs. Primary hours are Monday through Friday 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM, with weekend and holiday hours of 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. You will also work one shift per week from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM and one shift per week from 12:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Schedules are provided approximately one month in advance.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Compensation

• Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Guaranteed 1.25% raise every 6 months
• Shift coverage bonuses ($50 per covered shift with less than 48-hour notice)
