Patient Care Technician (Full Time)

Averhealth is seeking a Male Drug Screening Representative to support individuals on their path to recovery by conducting drug testing and monitoring services in partnership with courts, treatment programs, and social service agencies. This entry-level, full-time position is based in Quincy, MA and offers opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at the testing center
• Conduct observed urine collections with male patients who are complying with probation, completing drug treatment programs, or meeting bond requirements
• Prepare and ship collected specimens to the Averhealth laboratory
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the testing site
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all company and legal standards

Clinical Setting

You will work at a drug testing center. Your primary worksite may vary based on operational needs, and regular coverage at secondary sites within a 45-mile radius may be required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position typically between 35-40 hours per week. Primary hours are Monday through Friday, 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM, with some weekend and holiday shifts from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. You must have flexibility for varying shifts due to random testing needs. Schedules are provided approximately one month in advance.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
