Join Providence Newberg Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician in our Float Pool unit. This role offers a 0.9 FTE position working day shift (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) with three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide direct patient care, optimize positive patient outcomes, and assist registered nurses and nurse practitioners during clinical visits by performing appropriate procedures. You will work independently while supporting the clinical team in a patient-focused care environment.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program (certification not required after hire), OR completion of first semester of a nursing program, OR completion of an EMT program (certification not required after hire), OR equivalent education/experience, OR one year of acute patient care experience, OR six months of experience in a direct patient care environment providing clerical support related to provider or patient documentation/charting
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
- Basic data entry skills
- Six months of proficient phlebotomy skills
