Patient Care Technician Day Shift

Sojourn at Seneca is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide direct support to clients in a behavioral health setting, serving as a representative of treatment staff while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patient activity and information
• Ensure patients attend scheduled activities
• Transport clients to scheduled activities and appointments using company vehicles
• Collect urine samples from clients
• Circulate throughout the facility to identify and alert staff to fire and safety hazards
• Provide appropriate assistance during emergency situations
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and records
• Follow Infection Control Guidelines at all times
• Facilitate client compliance with facility rules and responsibilities, reporting noncompliance to management
• Provide daily reports to management
• Build positive relationships with staff and clients
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications

• State Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
