Patient Care Technician

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic located in Winter Haven, Florida. As a PCT, you will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Required Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification
• Prior healthcare experience

Schedule

Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
