Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Neuro ICU - Nights

Join Endeavor Health as a Patient Care Technician in the Cardiac Neuro ICU (CNICU) at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. Under the direction of Registered Nurses and according to established procedures, you will perform patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients in this specialized intensive care setting.

Schedule

• Part-time position, 24 hours per week
• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• No travel required

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care tasks and procedures under RN supervision
• Assist with patient comfort and safety measures
• Support the interdisciplinary care team in the CNICU

Required Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course, OR minimum six months of previous patient care experience, OR equivalent experience, OR completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to receive and follow through on directions

Compensation

• Hourly pay range: $18.84 - $27.32
• Pay rate determined by expertise and years of experience, among other factors
