Patient Care Technician

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital - National Harborside in Washington, DC is seeking Patient Care Technicians to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel. As a member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for various patient care activities and related non-licensed services necessary for the personal safety and comfort of patients in this medically complex continuing care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel
• Perform patient care activities and related non-licensed services
• Ensure personal safety and comfort of patients
• Perform procedures requiring specific training in technical skills after completion of competencies established by Nursing Administration
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule and Shifts

• Full-Time Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Part-Time Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Predictable scheduling with flexibility options including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• At least one year of acute or long-term care experience in one of the following roles: EMT, Med-Surg Tech, Critical Care Tech, PCT, CNA/GNA, or Military Training as a Medic or Corpsman
• This is a safety-sensitive designated position
