Patient Care Technician (Administrative Assistant)

DaVita is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Patient Care Technician for a dual-role position in Marshall, Texas. This role combines administrative support with patient care responsibilities in a dialysis outpatient setting, serving patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

Clinical Setting

You will work in hospital and outpatient dialysis settings, building meaningful relationships with patients and families in an intimate care environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices, and purchase orders
• Assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments
• Provide administrative support to the clinical team
• Operate as a Patient Care Technician as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• CMS-approved Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification
• Excellent computer and clerical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Typing speed of 60 WPM or higher
• Personable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
