Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in the Midland/Odessa area. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive allergy and sinus care to patients ages 2 and above, working collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Clinical Setting
You will work in outpatient allergy and sinus clinics, providing direct patient care focused on allergic and sinus conditions. You must be flexible to provide coverage in both Midland and Odessa clinics as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations
- Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT) and nasal endoscopy
- Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing using percutaneous and intracutaneous allergy skin testing
- Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and treatment after surgeon-performed sinus procedures
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR within 24 hours of their visit
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community
- Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship representative to help establish credibility and market Aspire
- Adhere to standard performance metrics: testing (50% minimum threshold), treatment (30% minimum threshold), and in-office procedure conversion (7% minimum threshold)
Schedule
- Wednesday and Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Valid driver's license
