Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Katy clinic location. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive allergy and sinus care to patients ages 2 and above, working as a vital member of our clinical team dedicated to curing patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems.
Clinical Setting
You will practice in our allergy and sinus specialty clinic located at 23530 Kingsland Blvd, Suite 203, Katy, TX 77494. You will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity and quality of care while maintaining our clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations
- Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT) and nasal endoscopy
- Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients using Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and treatment after surgeon-performed sinus procedures
- Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR within 24 hours of their visit
- Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community
- Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship representative to help establish credibility and market Aspire
- Adhere to standard performance metrics: Testing (50% minimum threshold), Treatment (30% minimum threshold), and IOP Conversion (7% minimum threshold)
Schedule
- Monday or Tuesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of practicing as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Valid driver's license
