This part-time position offers direct patient care in a critical care environment within a four-bed ICU unit serving post-surgical and critically ill patients. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities while promoting a patient- and family-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care aligned with standards and guidelines
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Address patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Educate patients and families on managing their conditions
- Communicate care plans effectively across the continuum of care
- Ensure safety and quality compliance
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
- Respond to hospital emergencies and serve as a member of the clinical emergency response team
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Alertness and adherence to safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two or more years of nursing experience
- ICU experience
