Part Time Evenings and PRN - Ideal for a School Nurse (3:30-6 PM) Lutherville, MD

This is a part-time private duty nursing position caring for a 15-year-old male with a G-tube in a home healthcare setting. The role offers flexible scheduling ideal for school nurses or those seeking to supplement existing employment with consistent evening hours and additional day shift opportunities during summers and school breaks.

Clinical Setting

• One-on-one care in the client's home
• Patient located in Lutherville, MD (temporarily in Pikesville, MD from September-November)
• Pediatric home healthcare with a Joint Commission Accredited agency

Schedule

• Primary shift: 3 days per week, 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
• Additional PRN day shift opportunities available during holidays, summers, and school breaks

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely

Required Qualifications

• Active or unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate Compact license
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and trach care (training provided for qualified candidates)
• Ventilator experience (training provided for qualified candidates)
• Pediatric nursing experience

Compensation

• Pay range: $26-42 per hour, determined by licensure, skills, experience, and case assignment
• Time and a half pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week
• Weekly pay with direct deposit option
