Job Description
Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking Nurse Externs to provide basic patient care and support under the supervision of RN staff members. In this role, you will assist patients with activities of daily living and provide care designed to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs. You may also be cross-trained to perform unit secretary clerical duties.
As a Nurse Extern, you will perform nursing practice interventions that you have learned within your clinical training and that have been successfully validated by an RN staff member.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program
- Completion of first clinical rotation
- AHA BLS certification
No prior nursing experience is required for this position.
